White Almonds Registry for the Couple


WHEN SHOULD WE GET IN TOUCH?



We recommend starting the registry process prior to sending out formal invitations to your guests so that you can include our complimentary notification cards in English and/or Arabic informing your guests about your Wedding Registry.


HOW DOES THE WEDDING GIFT LIST WORK?



You can either visit us in our beautiful private showroom to have a personal consultation enabling us to assist you in creating the perfect list, or you are able to create it online where we are available to guide you through the process via email or phone. Our website has a simple to use format that includes a gallery of all of our products, art galleries and honeymoon options, as well as online secure registration and a private password protected registry section.

You have the option to choose between a Traditional Wedding Registry, or choose a Cash Back Registry.
Fees and charges are only applicable for a Cash Back Registry.

Traditional Wedding Registry
At the end of your Wedding, once you have chosen to close your list you are able to change your gifts and shop freely with your registry funds from our wide selection of partner stores. Your registry funds are vaild for a year from the date of your wedding.

Cash Back Registry
At the end of your Wedding, once you have chosen to close your list the amount contributed will be given back to you via bank transfer or cheque.
A 3.5% processing fee applies. For example. If you receive 20,000 AED on your Wedding Registry, 700 AED processing fee will be deducted from your registry funds.


WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO RECEIVE MY CASH BACK?



Before you receive your cash back we will need the following information, a copy of your passport with visa attached, ID number passport or national ID, document number, marriage certificate, contact info, mothers maiden name.  This is a KYC check that needs to be carried out under the rules and regulations of the UAE.

ARE THERE ANY CHARGES FOR SETTING UP A WEDDING GIFT LIST?



If you choose a traditional wedding registry there are no charges for setting up a wedding gift list. If you choose a cash back registry fees and charges are applicable.


CAN OUR GUESTS VIEW THE LIST IN ANOTHER CURRENCY?



Yes, they are able to view the list in USD, EURO, GBP and AED. Other currencies can be added upon request.


IN WHAT CURRENCY WILL MY GUESTS BE CHARGED IN ?



Your guests will be charged in UAE Dirham. Transactions in currencies other than AED will be converted to AED according to applicable currency conversion regulations and procedures. 


WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?



We accept payment via Visa and MasterCard. Our online payment system uses SSL encryption to ensure that all transactions are completely secure.


HOW SECURE IS THE WHITE ALMONDS REGISTRY?



The platform uses 256-bit SSL secure socket layer certification to provide encryption between your web browser and the web server so that personal information can be transmitted over the Internet securely. 


WHERE IS THE MONEY HELD?



While your registry is open and guests are making their contributions your funds are kept very securely. White Almonds holds your money in a non-interest-bearing trust account.


WHAT PRODUCTS AND COLLECTIONS DO YOU CARRY AT WHITE ALMONDS SHOWROOM?



Our portfolio of brands covers a plethora of exquisite collections from the top European designers. We have been very careful to choose and integrate an array of colors, shapes, styles and designs of table top products that range from sleek and minimalist, to bold and decorative. We also offer personalization for all our collections. 


HOW DO OUR GUESTS VIEW, PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTE TO OUR LIST?



Once your list has been created you are able to publish it where it will be accessible to your guests. Your guests will be able to access your list by entering either the bride or grooms name from "BUY A GIFT" found on the home page of our website, www.white-almonds.com. You will also have a unique link that you can upload onto your website if you have one which will direct the guests to your list and we also provide complimentary discreet cards in English and Arabic for you to include with your invitations. Alternatively they can telephone us and speak with a White Almonds consultant. A copy of your list can be emailed, faxed or posted to your guest and will only be accessible to your invited guests.


HOW CAN WE VIEW THE GIFT SELECTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE?



Through your account you are able to view the progress anytime and see who has contributed what with a personal message. You will also be notified via weekly update mails on every gift you receive.


CAN WE CHANGE OUR MIND ABOUT SOME OF THE GIFTS ON THE LIST?



Yes, you can make any changes or additions to your list at any time whilst it's open. Once you close your list you are free to purchase exactly what you wish. 


CAN I EXTEND MY REGISTRY CLOSE DATE?



Yes, you can edit the close date at any time.


WHAT IS "PRICE PER ALMOND" & "GIVE AN ALMOND" MEAN, HOW DOES IT WORK?



The Almond feature is a fun way for you to register for bigger value gifts such as a piece of art, or a holiday destination. Once you select your gift, you can divide it into pieces we call Almonds. For example, if you choose to list a gift worth 10,000 AED, you are able to divide it into 12 "Almonds" worth 833 AED enabling your guests to purchase an "Almond value" towards your gift.


DO ALL THE ALMONDS HAVE TO BE PURCHASED IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE GIFT?



No, White Almonds gives you the flexibility to purchase what you wish for at the end of your registry.


WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY ON GIFTS?



If you choose to purchase gifts from White Almonds showroom, returns and exchanges cannot be done once the final order confirmation has been made. If you choose to spend your funds with our partner stores you must follow the individual returns policy.


HOW SOON AFTER OUR WEDDING DO WE HAVE TO FINALISE OUR ORDER IF CHOOSING ITEMS FROM WHITE ALMONDS AND CLOSE OUR LIST?



We are happy to work around your schedule and delay shipping and ordering your gifts from White Almonds showroom until you are ready to receive them.

HOW DO I FIND A COUPLES GIFT REGISTRY?



You will be able to access the couples list by entering either the bride or grooms name from "BUY A GIFT" found on our home page. Alternatively you can telephone us and speak with a White Almonds consultant. If a unique link is provided then it will bring you directly to the couple&rsquos list on the website.


ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR PURCHASING A GIFT ONLINE?



There are no online credit card processing fees if a gift is being purchase from a Traditional and Cash Back Registry


"PURCHASE AN ALMOND", WHAT DOES IT MEAN?



When you visit the couple's registry you will notice some of the larger gifts are broken down into Almonds allowing you to contribute as many Almonds as your budget allows towards the gift.


WHY CHOOSE A GIFT REGISTRY OVER GIVING MONEY?



Selecting a gift from the couples list is more meaningful and sentimental. It also saves the hassle of collecting envelopes for the couple and the possibility of them getting lost.


WHEN SHOULD I MAKE MY GIFT PURCHASE?



You can make your purchase anytime up until the registry close date, we recommend you make your contribution within the months leading up to the wedding day.


HOW DO I SELECT A GIFT?



Once you have logged onto the couples Gift list you can view all of the itemsstores they have selected, complete with images and select the gift you would like to purchase. Alternatively you can telephone us and speak with a White Almonds consultant.


HOW WILL THE COUPLE KNOW I HAVE MADE A PURCHASE?



White Almonds will notify the couple via weekly e mails on every gift gifted to them. The Couples can also view their gift list with gifted items and personal messages at any time through their account.


HOW SECURE IS IT TO PURCHASE A GIFT ONLINE?



The White Almonds Wedding Registry uses a PCI compliant, integrated payment gateway to process all transactions. This means that all payments are conducted securely and the system for processing and transmitting cardholder data is compliant with PCI DSS and the Card Associate Compliance program.


CAN I VIEW THE LIST IN ANOTHER CURRENCY?



Yes, the list can be viewed in USD, EURO, GBP and AED.

Using Your Registry Funds With Our Partners


HOW DO WE SHOP FROM YOUR PARTNER STORES?



We are delighted to offer you a personal shopping service where we will drive and accompany you as you shop. Alternatively, simply let the sales staff know you are a White Almonds Registry client, set aside the Items you wish to purchase and inform our registry team either via e mail or telephone so we can follow up your order.
Delivery will be made within 48 hours depending on Items chosen and availability.


HOW LONG ARE OUR REGISTRY FUNDS VALID FOR?



Your registry funds are valid for one year from the date of your wedding.


WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CANNOT FIND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR, OR A STORE WE WISH TO SHOP FROM IS NOT WITHIN YOUR PARTNER LIST?



Don't worry. Simply let us know and we will do our very best to either source the Item for you, if possible, and include stores you may wish for. We are expanding our partnerships on a daily basis to offer you an unparalleled choice to shop from.

Shipping & Delivery on Items Purchased From White Almonds


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE OUR GIFTS ARRIVE ONCE WE HAVE CONFIRMED OUR ORDER?



In order to allow flexibility on the final selection of gifts we do not offer your gifts when your guests purchase them but wait until we have received confirmation of your order after your wedding.  It is only then that we order your gifts from our suppliers on your behalf. As our products are all handmade specifically on a client order basis the lead time usually takes between 4-8 weeks.  Many of our suppliers don&rsquot carry huge stock, so they start production only when we place the order on your behalf.

Once the goods have arrived to White Almonds, delivery within the U.A.E usually takes between 3-5 business days. However, depending on the country of delivery it may take longer as customs clearances vary. 

You will receive two complimentary deliveries within the U.A.E arranged on a date and time that best suits you.

All goods are checked before they are delivered to you.

HOW DOES YOUR PRICING WORK & WHAT CURRENCY ARE THE PRICES LISTED IN?



White Almonds is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, so all transactions and prices on our website & showroom are in UAE Dirham.

Our product partners provide recommended retail prices for their products and we strictly adhere to these guidelines.


ARE LOCAL TAXES & DUTIES INCLUDED IN THE PRICING OF THE PRODUCTS?



Yes, the prices listed on www.white-almonds.com include 5 customs duty and shipping charges. However, if shipments are being sent elsewhere other than U.A.E the taxes, duties and shipping charges will be calculated accordingly. Our philosophy is to be as fair and transparent as possible.
